COLORS & CORDS

hOCKS COLOR CHART

Custom Hand-Crafted Hearing Protection earplugs are made of translucent hypoallergenic silicone.

Coloring options are available in solid colors or swirl (2 or more colors).

Most colors may be chosen as either opaque or translucent. Some color choices and combinations swirl more effectively than others. If you have questions regarding colors for swirling, please consult with Hocks Earmold Lab 503-274-9482 or 800-654-6257.

Skin Tones

If your patient requests skin tone, please refer to our chart and choose the number that most closely matches your patient's skin coloring.

Disclaimer: In addition to the variances in monitors and operating systems, there may also be some variance in colors between batches and dye lots.

Please note: We cannot offer refunds for any color related issue due to the variables that occur between batches and dye lots.

HOCKS NOISE FILTER®

White filters are used in opaque colored Noise Braker molds.
Red & blue filters are available for use in clear or translucent Noise Braker molds only. Filters will not show in opaque molds. Some customers choose a red filter for the right ear mold and blue for the left ear mold, to quickly and easily identify right and left molds.
METAL DETECTABLE

Ball bearings can be added to solid, filtered, or communication ear molds.
PRESSURE-FIT CORD

The Pressure-Fit Cord (now available for use in your earmold lab) is a pvc cord, held snugly in place with a small plastic nipple. The cord is easy to remove, reinstall, and replace.
ANCHORED CORD

Anchored cords are permanent, made of woven nylon, and attached with metal rings embedded into the silicone.
NOTE: Attempted removal of this cord will permanently damage the mold.
